Originally from Germany, Christine studied Law and English Literature at the University of Otago and was admitted to the Bar in the Hamilton High Court in 2000.  Christine has always had an interest in Family Law and initially worked in Tauranga in the family and criminal jurisdictions, then specialised in child protection cases in the UK, particularly in London. 

Following a stint overseas, including the UK, Middle East and Germany, where Christine worked in the aviation industry for several years, she returned to Southland in 2022 where once again she concentrated on Family Law.  Her interests include covering all aspects of domestic disputes, including care and protection of children, family violence, parenting and guardianship, paternity and relationship property.

Christine has recently relocated to Queenstown, where she particularly enjoys the outdoors, such as skiing and hiking (tramping) as well as attending activities with her two young children, including ice hockey and Scouts.
