In New Zealand only lawyers are eligible to hold office as a Notary Public.
As Notaries Public we consider ourselves to be a bit special given our status is bestowed by the Archbishop of Canterbury (as in the United Kingdom, not Christchurch, NZ). Despite all this palaver, we notaries are ordinary folk, not as scary as judges, but we do take our obligations seriously.
Contact the Queenstown office to book an appointment with Jayne or Alan.
