All employer-assisted post-study open work visas are no longer an option for international students after 26 November 2018 and have been replaced with the post-study work visa.
In contrast to an employer-assisted post-study open work visa, post-study work visas mean that overseas applicants are not tied to a particular employer. Overseas workers who currently have an employer-assisted post-study open work visa have the right to have the job and employer stated on their work visa removed if they wish.
